What's that hiding in the shadows?

It's a 100 calorie snack pack!!  This super fun and easy gift package is a quick gift package for a simple gift.  To make this quick wrapper, you need:

Cardstock measuring 4" x 12"
   scored at 4", 7", 11"
6" of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
Crop-A-Dial
Bone Folder
DSP and Cardstock scraps to decorate
Fold cardstock in on all scored edges.  The 1 inch flap should fold over the front of the package forming a triangle shape.
Use the Crop-A-Dial to punch two 3/16" holes through the three layers at the top of the triangle.
Weave the ribbon through the holes by putting the ends through the holes towards the back first then pulling each end through the alternate holes.  This creates a simple no tie bow!
Decorate and embellish your package as you see fit!  Super fun and easy!!
Happy Stamping!!

Merry Pinwheel

My talented friend and sideline Joyce W. introduced me to a super cool pinwheel technique at the first Chicago West Suburban Shoe Box Swap.  Pretty cool looking, isn't it?  Joyce's card was bright and cheery.  I adapted it for Christmas.  To make this card, you will need:

Kraft Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4
Chocolate Chip Cardstock  2-7/8 x 2-7/8
Real Red Cardstock  3 x 3
Merry Moments DSP  4-1/4 x 2-3/4
Merry Moments DSP 6 x 3
Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button
Eyelet Border Punch
Many Merry Messages (#116586)
Chocolate Chip Classic Ink
Real Red Stampin Write Marker
1-1/4 Square Punch
Stamping Sponge
Stampin Dimensionals
SNAIL Adhesive

Let's hope our stampin friend Joyce posts her wonderful totorial!!  I'll do my best to describe the process until then :)
  1. Fold Kraft cardstock in half.  Punch end with Eyelet Border punch.  Ink all edges with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink using Stamping Sponge.
  2. Ink edges of 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 DSP.  Attache with SNAIL and adhere to center of front of card.
  3. Use Real Red Stampin Write Marker to color the Noel stamp, not extending ends all the way out.  Stamp in lower right corner.
  4. Mount Chocolate Chip squares on top of Read Red squares.  Mount two squares at 45 angels on each other.  You're creating an 8 point star.
  5. Punch 8 squares out of DSP with the 1-1/4 square punch.
  6. Putting adhesive only on one corner of each DSP square, create a pinwheel shape around the double mounted squares.  You will adhere each square in the point of the corners of the squares.  When you get to the last square, tuck the last side under the first square mounted.
  7. Punch corduroy button through center of DSP star.  Bend up corners of squares to give a spinning pinwheel effect.
  8. Mount Stampin Dimensionals on the back of star.  Center on front of card.
Happy Stamping!

Gifts In A Flash

The holiday season is now upon us...or so it seems since Halloween is over :)  We'll be giving a lot more hand made gifts this year than we have in the past.  I always think a gift that comes with love from the heart is so much better than anything that can be purchased in a store!  The first in a series of Kelli's Korner Gift Klasses kicks off this Saturday with Gifts In A Flash.  We'll be making a set of tile coasters, a pendant necklace, ornaments and a fun gift tag set.  Email me if you'd like to join us!!
